Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
As we approach the spring equinox a stronger sun is taking its toll on the trails. Expect icy and sticky tracks. There is still a significant base and we will continue to groom as fresh snow allows. From here on out we will only be updating conditions if we have additional snow or grooming takes place.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Plenty of snow in this trail system with everything open. A bit icy in the morning but conditions softened to near perfect by late morning. Classic tracks (this is a classic area) holding up well. Beautiful area for several hours of skiing without repeating trails.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trails were groomed Monday morning. Warmer days means the tracks in sunny areas of the trail will likely be icy. However, there has been little significant loss of base. Great Spring skiing this weekend. Cabins still available for our final ski weekend on March 2nd.

Firsthand: Classic

Groomed with a single track for classic only. Was a sunny -15F in the morning and warmed up to -2F by the time we started at 11:30 am. Very pleasant in the woods with minimal wind. Lots of wolf tracks and some moose tracks. We parked at the Flathorn Lake picnic parking. We skied 15 K today. Plenty of snow and very peaceful.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trails were freshly groomed for classic skiing. There was a fresh dusting of snow and I'd say they might have been just a little slow, but way better than being icy!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
After almost 2 weeks of minimal new snowfall, we finally accumulated enough over the past week to groom productively. Groomed on Thursday and very good conditions throughout the trail system. Still a small section between 13 and 21 blocked with downed trees.
