Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Great trail conditions. A few spots with grass showing through in the tracks due to the nature of the trail. Tracks in great condition and have set up well.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
First time on these trails and they were enjoyable. Generally good conditions on skate lanes and tracks were a little glazed. A few minor and avoidable dirty snow patches. Grooming was done post warm up. I recommend stopping by and trying these trails. The trails are right in town in Two Harbors.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Skied here for the first time Sunday afternoon. The trails were well packed and fast given the warm temperatures and an extremely slow day of skiing the day prior at Gooseberry State Park (not packed well). I was skating but there was a track set throughout though definitely thin in a lot of spots. Super enjoyable skate skiing conditions.

First one out on the trails post-grooming. Tracks were set and in great condition away from the trailhead. Beautiful sunny skies and great snow cover on the 9K loop.

Skied after recent snow. Trails recently groomed. Groomed for classic and skate. Good condition and nice.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Good skis ]
Conditions much improved secondary to 4" new snow. No bare spots or debris. Course is soft and with the cold the course skied slow. Classic tracks set but propensity for classic skiers to ski in middle of skate trails created numerous ruts in the soft base which makes skating the course challenging at times as the skate course is narrow in many areas and impedes gliding.

Afternoon
Secondhand
[ Trails Open: All ]
The trails are freshly groomed after the recent snowfall - trails appear to be in great shape. All trails groomed for skating and classic. The lights are not working, hoping to have them fixed soon.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Has the minimum amount of snow to ski, probably 6" or so. The course has been groomed once, and not anytime recently. Some debris scattered, but mostly damage free course. The skate path is grooved by numerous classic tracks, and the course overall is bumpy and difficult to freestyle on. The course is narrow, and no classic tracks are set. I have a cabin in the area, and have skied this course many times - another 4" of snow will greatly improve the conditions. Donation box, so if you ski, try to give a little to offset grooming costs.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Trail is OK, but terrain is pretty uneven and the snow is just adequate enough to ski. The trail is narrow and has not been groomed for quite a while. There are classic ski ruts throughout the skate trail. A few brown spots here and there. Needs another 4-6" snow base, a good grooming and a set of the classic tracks so the skate trail is not grooved by classic skis.

Afternoon

Classic skied. Trail rolled, No track set. Good but not excellent coverage. Some grass showing through on most of the trail, but trail is clean of debris. So no base scratches.
