Classic tracks were great. Corners and some uphills were slightly washed out but to be expected after a full weekend of skiing. Outside pole was a bit soft and I broke through every few poles. Also as an FYI I wouldn't take your kids on the 5k loop if they are squeamish. Coyotes got a deer and decided to drag the thing a ways along the trail before dining. What's left is visible from the trail.

We have had several snows of 4-8". Trails were packed and groomed between each snow, three times this week. All skate and classic tracks are groomed and the skiing is excellent.

Great skiing considering windy conditions -- the wind has covered some tracks near open areas, no shock there. Nothing you can't get through. Surprisingly little detritus on tracks, some on long downhill on 3k, but not noteworthy. Lights popped on around 4:20 or so and they're pretty magical. Thanks to all involved in fixing them. Skied the 5k yesterday and it was great. Likely similar drifty condition after today's wind.

I am pleased to report that our lights have been repaired and are back on for night time skiing. Trails are in great shape but very firm and fast because of the bout of sub zero temps.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Trails were groomed on Friday. Classic tracks were slightly glazed and washed out in some spots due to many people using the trail. Outside pole consistently broke through to the ground with each pole plant. All that said, still fun skiing in Two Harbors on natural snow. Skate deck was much firmer and was super fun for skating.

Wonderful. Groomers did a great job of dealing with the ice earlier in the week. Classic tracks were solid and skate deck looked good. I skied the outer loop, and paused for a minute on the eastern end. You could hear the wind above in the birches, and the waves pounding on the Lake Superior shore in the distance.

There is an electrical issue with the lighting on the trail, possibly a broken line underground. No timeline on repair yet.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails were groomed Monday. We had 5" of powerer over the 8" of heavy snow we had 3 days prior. Trails are in excellent conditions. Erkii harju offers 3K of lighted trails. All trails are easy to moderate and is a great place for beginner and novice skiers.
