Conditions: Very good. Inch or so of fluff on top of firm fast base. minimal seed litter. Dual classic track to Irvington. It was mid 20's partly sunny with slight north wind. I skated and used Fast Wax Blue.
This may be a RR grade trail with no chalenging hills but it's always fast and scenery is gorgeous. Grooming was great with no foot traffic to screw it up. Fastest ski of the year for me. 7.7 miles in 1:14. 6.2 mph average with water, phone and photo stops. Over 8 mph for 2 miles without interruption. Good thing I got my pacemaker reprogrammed - really!

Conditions: Groomed and tracked from Menomonie to Downsville.
Trail turned out nice and has a solid base. Skaters please respect track as a little disheartening to have 11k of fresh track skated over and on top of before I was done grooming especially with skate lane available.

Conditions: Good to very good.
Great coverage and grooming. Tracks were deep with only a very few places with grass, easily avoided. Skate deck marred by boot tracks for the first mile or south heading south from the Menomonie Depot.

Quite a few people out on New Year's Day. We started at Menomonie depot and turned around about a mile past Irvingtion. It was beautiful! Double tracks until Irvington with a few shallow spots and exposed grass. Bald eagle flew over our head at one point. Go America!

Conditions: Groomed and tracked.
We rolled the trail yesterday and set track today. Double tracked from Menomonie to Irvington and single track from Irvington to Downsville. Trail is a little soft but turned out well for snow we have.
