[ Bare ground ]
We skied the upper and lower trails today. We walked about as much as we skied. There were lots of bare spots and the snow was very dirty. If you're up for an adventure, don't mind hiking, and are able to jump little streams. It's still very worth getting out there.

No grooming yet as of this morning, but sign said to expect grooming this evening. Makes sense ahead of things freezing up tonight. Tomorrow morning should be hard and fast.

We arrived at the Nature Center at around 10:30 with temperatures in the teens. The trails were freshly groomed; we were the first ones out. The tracks and skate lane were on the hard side (fast), flurries helped to soften the tracks a little. Another fun outing in the UP. Still plenty of snow up here if the temperatures hold.

We skied blue and green trails on the west end. Recently groomed, lightly used as of late afternoon, tracks were firm, icy only in a few spots that had seen sun.

Wow! What a wonderful place. Super wide and fantastically groomed terrain. There was not a wobble in the track set. What quality, Great job.

Classic skied this morning. Outstanding conditions. Tracks are firm and deep with plenty of base. Skating lane looks firm and fast too. Swix blue kick wax worked well at 23 degree temps. A marvelous trail system with a nice mix of flats and hills. The Huskies have it groomed to perfection. Thanks guys.

With 18" of snow the last three days, plenty of base. Skiing was a bit soft today as the groomers continue to pack the new snow. Tracks set on some loops. Very good conditions.

Some bare spots were present with the blowing wind, and some trails weren't yet groomed, and a few trails had a surprising amount of snow even though they had been groomed. That said, the skating was great! The snow was sweet, the trails were fast, and it sure is nice to be back on snow after 10 days without. Thanks, Tech groomers!

Very icy but almost completely covered. I found several partial trails still had okay skiing with intermittent ice patches. It will be warm tomorrow and I'm going to try to get out again. No classic tracks, just a few spots where skating is still possible.
