Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
After grooming 3 inch base we rolled it and its tracked. Conditions good, still hunting season. We are open after clearing trail, then Pat and I rolled and tracked. Enjoy.

Grooming Scheduling
[ Trails: Closed, Rock skis ]
Our initial trail opening date was early next week but with storm damage from the heavy snow and high winds we're set back a bit. We are coordinating an effort with volunteers to help with the removal of debris on Friday Nov 29th 9am so we can get most of it removed before we get more snow on top. If shopping isn't your thing, strap on the snow shoes and help us clear our trail! We hope to have equipment support on both ends of the trail but still the in planning. Remember it is gun deer season so blaze orange is recommended. The goal is to get all the debris off the trail for the groomer!

Firsthand
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Not groomed but enough fresh snow for easy classic striding. My kick wax occasionally picked up snow right down to the underlying limestone trail surface. Most likely skating would do the same because there is not yet a solid snow base. Still, it felt good to be out this early in the season doing the kick and glide.
