Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Fair to very good. Overall much improved by today's grooming. New tracks shaped up fairly well. Skate lane is good after the first mile. Each end of trail is still a bit rough due to excessive foot traffic during the warm spell. Thanks to Mike Boers for giving the trail today's needed attention.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
My wife Jessica skied classical and I skated. Both parts of the trail were superb, no debris, firm deck and smooth. I have high hopes this trail will hold up in possible warm weather.

Evening
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Renovated skate lane and combed out some crisp corduroy around dusk. Cool evening temps should help with setting up for a relatively firmer base on Sunday. Classic tracks were also reset. Enjoy the seasonal weather while it lasts!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Good skis ]
Skating conditions were very soft and slow, quite difficult. Classic tracks were firm and very fast. It'll probably take a few more passes with the groomer to allow good skating.

Beautiful but still quite soft. Repacked and combed skate lane. Set fresh tracks. Expect some drifting and new dusting under trees as the winds kick up this afternoon.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We gave the entire trail a once over with our roller and comb and set fresh tracks this afternoon. With an estimated 9" of new snow conditions are bound to be quite soft. We plan to go over the trail mid-morning Thursday with our TiddTech to firm things up a bit.

I was the first skier out on new snow and a freshly groomed trail. The track was perfect, the debris of the weekend was gone. Thanks to the groomers. It was beautiful skiing through the snowy woods.

Beautifully groomed and tracked. This is a delightful, easy, linear trail through woods with some wetland views, my first visit.

Groomed about 2" of fresh, dry snow. Still signs of some debris in the classic tracks but much improved. Skat lane should be enjoyable as well.

Aside from occasional spots and stretches of leaves and pine needles in the tracks, the entire trail is in good shape. Skate lane and tracks are firm and fast. Hoping for some fresh snow this week!
