Tracks are solid and the skate lane appeared to be firm also. Found an occasional soft pole plant but most were good. Overall very enjoyable spring skiing.

Excellent conditions with full depth classical track, firm pole plants, and no debris in the track. Amazing mid winter conditions in April! Thanks to Tom for grooming!

The trail was just groomed. I followed the classic trail. Medium speed and good pole plants. What a great ride for April. It was like a Christmas present that they were still grooming. Major props to the groomer. I had a great time on the trail.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Rolled, combed and set track in 8-10" of powder. Conditions should firm up a bit overnight but it will still be quite soft. Classic might be most enjoyable. The skate lane is soft and there are a few snowballs that fell off the back of the roller. Still, the trail should be skiable. Fun to get in some April skiing!

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
My wife and I skied on a beautiful spring day. We skated on good coverage but icy trails. We enjoyed gliding in generally good tracks. The only area of concern is just north of the bridge there are a few frozen drifts and a patch of exposed gravel.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Generally very good spring skiing conditions. A few patches of debris and surface varies from icy-fast to soft-slow depending on temp, time of day and sun. Base is holding up well. Rated for "b" skis due to woody debris and abrasive snow.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Tilled and combed the skate lane with very nice results. I left the classic track alone as it was in good shape with little debris. We still have 24" of snow in the shaded areas and 12 inches on the bridges.

We got out just as the groomer finished (nice timing) . Fantastic conditions. Fast snow, very little tree litter and a gorgeous day. They do a nice job at Three Eagle.

Today's inch of wet snow was groomed and tracked with nice results. Cold air tonight should firm up the trail for some great skiing.
