Trail conditions were great given the minimum amount of snow. Yes there were a few icy patches - especially under some pine areas, but overall the tracks were firm and plenty deep (except for a few short sections where the snow was not deep enough to set a track), the skate deck was flat and gave us a good edge, and the new snow should only have helped! Wonderful job of grooming. Keep up the good work!

Observation
[ Trails Open: Partial ]
Needs snow. Trail was open but even rock skis would have been a challenge due to many bare spots and no flat sections (very bumpy). Only walked out 30 yards from the Hwy 45 parking to view before turning around.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Groomed in the fresh snow this morning with a dusting on the south end, 1.5 inches on the north end. 9F and clearing skies. Set track on most of the trail, but pulled it in a few areas with thinner snow cover. Classic track has an icy base in places. Skate lane looks good, flat, firm. Parking lot connector on south end continues to be rough, but is improving, and is the reason trail is not rated for good skis.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Tilled and combed about an inch of new snowfall late morning hoping the slush from last night's rain would firm up. I did not set tracks due to a few icy patches and lack of workable snow. The skate lane looked firm and fast but be aware of the icy patches under the pines.

An inch new snow on top of 2" extra firm base. Thin base under any pines. Some ice patches just north of Mud Creek. Skating was good with B skis.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed with our Tidd Tech Groomer this morning over 2" of recent snowfall with nice results. I did turn up few leaves in the process but we should be able to set track with the next decent snowfall. Skate skiing should be great for early December snow conditions.

I skied the Three Eagle TraiI for the first time today. Excellent base of snow for early December. I was striding and doing okay in the skied-in tracks but then met the groomer who was grooming a beautiful skate lane but erasing the tracks (not enough snow to set machine-groomed tracks). So I mostly skated with my classic skis afterwards which was not ideal but was okay. Should have brought the skate skis today!

WoW! what a primo skating deck. The deck was firm, fast, completely covered, flat, with a dusting of new snow. This trail is on a crushed rock bike trail so it does not need much snow to ski. The scenery was amazing with all the trees flocked with snow. This trail is pet friendly and not unusual to encounter dogs on the trail. It is the best skating deck I have been this year. Kudos to Tom for a great grooming job. ( It helps when the groomer is a ski fanatic ).

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Rolled and combed the entire trail. Warm temps (31 °F) and some light drizzle resulted in a thin but very dense corduroy surface. Errant foot traffic could possibly scuff down to gravel but, so far, ski penetration is minimal as evidenced by several skaters and striders out enjoying the fresh grooming.

Surprisingly good conditions. A compact base of crusty snow and ice with fresh snow on top. The skate lane was rutted in places from a skier who used the trail when it was too warm. In a few areas, the edges of the trail are down to the limestone covered with a dusting of snow, so caution is advised. A skied-in classic track can be found in most places. Conditions seemed better on the north end.
