They rolled! Golf course, Gardens, Butler, and Bog have all been groomed. Surprisingly good coverage in Butler. A few rough spots but all are easy to avoid. Get after it!

Skied Butler and Bog this morning. Great to see it rolled. A little lumpy bumpy but decent overall and fun to be out.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
We got out and rolled the natural snow ski trails from the Trailhead south parking lot all the way down to 394. Conditions generally seem pretty good, with some thin spots, especially on paved areas, some slush, and some spots that have been plowed to some extent, like the Eloise Butler parking lot. We don't have any signs or maps out anymore, so familiarize yourself with maps on the loppet website before you get out if you don't know the trails well.

Not groomed but great coverage throughout Wirth! Skied all of the Bog and Butler trails. We weren't the only ones out enjoying the fresh snow. If it doesn't rain too much over night, trails should be great tomorrow.

Rock ski conditions for sure, but fun skiing nevertheless. The only place that I had to take skis off was the steep south-facing hill that overlooks Anwatain pond.

Skied Butler and bog tonight. It's pretty good rock ski skiing. There are definitely plenty of bumps and rocks and sticks showing through. But overall, especially for this winter, it was great quality snow, no ice, and a lot of fun. Be prepared to takeoff your skis and walk in a few places, including a couple of the downhills. For those looking to ski from Anwatin schools or the Bryn Mawr neighborhood to the World Cup tomorrow, it should be a pretty cool experience as long as you bring your rock skis. See you there!

Skate skied all of the South Wirth trails this afternoon. Had a great time enjoying the snow and sun in the woods. Few bare patches but mostly quite skiable. Appreciate the Wirth crew taking time to groom the trails in the midst of World Cup preparations.

I skied Bog and Butler starting at noon. It was freshly rolled and beautiful. No tracks set with the thin snow over damp dirt, but it was still easy to classic without much lumpiness. Unfortunately the south-facing hills were already melting out in the sun with some avoidable exposed dirt patches, so look before you bomb down the middle.

Theodore Wirth Natural snow trails were rolled this morning from the golf course down to 394. We stayed off of Wirth Lake and Anwatin Pond. Snowmaking loops and the entire area around the Trailhead and Chalet are closed for World Cup prep, so access trails from Wirth Beach or your favorite point of entry.
