Went around 1pm. Great snow coverage. However due to sunny warm day was like mash potatoes. Took lots of effort! And slow downhills. A few icy spots due to shade.

The short trail and middle trail (about 5 K) were groomed for skate and classic. Soft corduroy. Beautiful woods. No dog walkers had done damage as of 4:15 pm.

Conditions are good. Little soft. Skied classic on the easy trail only. The last big hill has no tracks yet.

Beautiful day to be xc skiing at Terrace Oaks. Skate trail in very good condition. Smooth skating. Classic in good condition.

Terrace Oaks survived warm-up. Fresh coating of new snow (maybe half inch of dense snow). Trail freshly groomed today. Skate skied all trails. Trails are in very good condition (smooth) for skating, even open areas that are being restored in NW corner of park. Classic track looked good, although there is quite a bit of ice in it, and tracks are deeper than last time I skied at park. Classic skiing will require klister for kick. Be careful walking in parking lot and path down to chalet as the asphalt is very icy.

Classic skied all loops. Although track is set shallow, I had no problem at all with tracking my skis. Skate deck looked flat and smooth, even on uphills and downhills. Freshly groomed. Good grooming job by City of Burnsville. Enjoyed immensely. Glad to be skiing here after lack of snow the past few years.

After being somewhat disappointed at Lebanon Hills (south of Pilot Knob) due to lack of grooming, we were very happy to ski well groomed Terrace Oaks. These were the best conditions I have experienced this year and I would highly recommend this park. The hills are exhilarating and the trails are in fantastic shape.

Skied the orange loop today for my first time on skis this season. I had forgotten how hilly this is! The classic tracks were smeared in the places where you'd expect them to be. There were some oak leafs but not too bad. There was debris (bits of bark or decayed tree) at one spot but it was easily avoidable. No ice.

Good coverage, a few leaves. Looks like it was groomed earlier this week. Classic tracks throughout, though a little shallow and washed out in places. A little walker damage on the skating lane, but not bad. Beautiful day for a ski.

Freshly groomed, relatively firm, good speed. Skied all the loops, a little debris and leaves, overall excellent coverage. This trail system is a wonderful and challenging alternative to Murphy.
