A big photo spread from the Thanksgiving Camp held
at Giants Ridge, Biwabik, MN, put on by the Minneapolis Ski
Club. This camp has traditionally been the big highlight to
end the fall training season and springboard to the on-snow
season. The camp features lots of on-snow technique workouts,
with video analysis, from top area coaches. It's not all work
and no play though: the "fashion show" is always a big hit,
and some years the weather works out and there is freetime for
skiing on the world class trails at Giants Ridge.
Big Thanks to Kim and Craig Rudd for being weekend
field reporters for us! They took some excellent photos, especially
considering this was their first exposure to the nuances (nuisance?)
of using a digital camera.
