The Minnesota Canoe Association and Midwest Mountaineering are co-sponsoring the Minnesota Paddling Symposium Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 9am-4:30pm at the Humphrey Institute’s Cowles Auditorium on the West Bank of the University of Minnesota.

There will be 13 presenters total.  Featured speakers are:

* Wolves of Isle Royale - Rolf Peterson, Michigan Technical University

* Pakboats: A Scandanavian Whitewater Adventure - Cliff Jacobsen

* Landscape and People of Mongolia and Siberia: Canoeing and Sharing Stories - Bria Shurke

Other presentation topics include:

DNR Water Trails, Mississippi River Paddle-4Ward, Inland Sea Kayakers, Circumnavigation of Isle Royale, Twin Cities Rowing Clubs, Dragon Boat Racing, Rice Creek Boat Club, Sufski Fun, Canoe Racing and Grand Canyon Rapids Riders.
