Double Birkie Scheduled for Wed Dec 30th

It's been a dry ski season but once again patience has paid off.

We have received the all clear from the nordic gods, the 30th annual Double Birkie will be Wednesday Dec 30 at Fish Hatchery departing at 8 AM sharp. Arrive early to snap a picture or two. Skiing north, we will stop briefly at OO before pressing on to the North End Cabin (approximately 42 K). After a hearty soup and sandwich lunch available for $10 catered in by the Brick House of Cable, we will head south to OO and finish at the Fish Hatchery as a beautiful sunset warms our fatigued bodies and minds. There might be a post ski session that night at the Sawmill Saloon. Just sayin. The event has no fees, no T-shirts, yes camaraderie.
