2019 Cross Country National Coaches' Symposium and Regional Clinics

Hello U.S. Ski & Snowboard Cross Country Coaches!

Mark your calendars for 2019-20 Cross Country Regional Clinics & Symposiums

PRE-REQUISITES:  In order to be certified as a Level 100 + Coach, the following requirements must be met. 

• Current U.S. Ski & Snowboard Coach Membership
• Completion of the online SafeSport Training - SafeSport Training or the SafeSport refresher course is required annually
• Current 1st Aid/CPR Training (we accept any online or in-person training) - will have a place to upload these to the level 100 online course
• CDC Heads Up Concussion training or equivalent - will have a place to upload these to the level 100 online course

Level 100:

• Completion of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Coaching Fundamentals online course
• Completion of the 2 online portfolios that align with the online modules - Coaching Core Competency & Sport Specific Portfolio
• Completion of the 4 sport specific online modules - Equipment, Training, Technique, and Competition
• Level 100 in-person technique clinic - see below for registration
• Completion of Final Online Exam passing 80% or higher

Level 200:

• Must be a current Level 100 + certified coach to register - all level 100 pre-requisites above apply
• Level 200 in-person clinic
• Level 200 Manual and exam will be given to you when you register for a clinic - passing 80% or higher
• Level 200 Training plan assignment
