Laddies Loppet Cross-Country Coverage
September 1, 2013Day two in the Laddies Loppet saw a big change in conditions as riders woke to temps in the upper 50's and a light mist lingering in the air. Rain the night before tacked the track to perfection making for fast and challenging riding. Racers were not only competing for top spots in the cross-country but the overall stage race classification. In the Elite race, Sara Kylander-Johnson continued her dominance taking the womens victory and stage race. Brendan Moore and Jeff Hall broke free from the mens field to ride together the entire race. Moore made it a sweep on the weekend as he held off Hall at the line and take the overall win. Scott Kylander Johnson, Mason Bacso and Devin Curran rounded off the top five.
