The warmest ECTT race day fell on the LAST race night of the season. Skiers had a chance tested out their warmest skis and wax tonight. Regardless what the conditions up ahead at the various big marathon races, skiers through this season had experienced all different conditions each week. Best of luck at the Birkie/Korte or other fun short/mid distance spring like races. Elm Creek will soon be filled with skiers, bikers and runners on it's multiple-use 7k POLE PEDAL PANT winter triathlon race course. The 25th edition of the PPP winter tri (10k ski, 7k bike, 7k run, all on snow) will test out the strongest athletes among skiers, bikers and runners after a hard winter season, or simply transition to a fun tri season ahead. This year's events will again feature separate skate/classic categories in the ski race, and individuals vs team racers categories, as well as single race categories (ski 10k only, bike 7k only, run 7k only).

This ECTT annual race series is sponsored by RAINBOW RESORT (a xc ski resort) which will host the annual Rainbow Rendezvous ski race on March 1, 2014.
