MTU Nordic Ski Team: Hall of Fame Rollerski Time Trial

Michigan Tech Sports Hall of Fame Roller-Ski Time Trial!

Come race against the Michigan Tech Nordic Ski Team in our open roller-ski time trial! This is part of our weekend of celebratory events for the induction of Michigan Tech Nordic/Cross Country/Track & Field alumni Kristina Owen into our Michigan Tech Sports Hall of Fame! The roller-ski time trial is free for everyone, so come out, put on your race bib...and go for it! No prizes, just bragging rights will be awarded. See below for the full details!:

When:

• Saturday, October 13th - 9:30 AM start!

Where: 

• Race registration/bib pickup: 8:30 AM -  9:00 AM @ parking lot across from McLain State Park.

Route:

• Hwy 203 - Start @ Bear Lake Rd > Finish @ Lakeview Cemetery. Strava course map: https://www.strava.com/routes/15593579

What:

• Open & FREE Roller-Ski Time Trial to celebrate the induction of alumni Kristina Owen into our Michigan Tech Sports Hall of Fame!
• 7km individual start race. 30 second start intervals.
• Your choice of technique - skate or classic.

*Please also consider supporting Kristina Owen on Friday, October 12th & Saturday, October 13th as she and all Hall of Fame inductees get introduced at the following MTU athletics home events:

Friday, October 12th:

• 7:37pm - Hockey vs. Minnesota Duluth (inductees introduced @ intermission)

Saturday, October 13th:

• 1pm - Football vs. Wayne State (inductees introduced @ halftime)
• 7:07pm - Hockey vs. Minnesota Duluth (inductees introduced @ intermission)
