ABC Relays Update

Good Evening Coaches!

Just a quick note for all of you as we are one week from the ABC Relays at the Mora Vasaloppet Center. I am currently working with those at the Vasaloppet on a few final details, including a map with the course and parking, and I am hoping to get the final meet details out to you tomorrow, Monday. Note that there is a wrestling tourney happening at the elementary school next to the Vasa Center on Saturday as well, so finalizing parking is the biggest thing we want to have figured out.

But, things are shaping up to be a solid day of some fun racing. There are currently 12 teams with one more possibly joining. The Boys race will start at 10:00 and the Girls will be at 11:30. If we can get results done quickly the hope is to have the awards at around 1:00.

For those that have not been a part of the ABC's in the past, please note that all of your skiers are welcome to race and you can have as many relay teams as you would like. The first two legs of a relay team are classic and the second two legs are skate/freestyle. If you are short a skier or two for a relay, we can always check with another school that will be there and have a mixed team. Also please note that for results and awards, only your A and B team will count and the skiers on those two relay teams will count towards the individual awards. We will have plaques for the top 4 Boys and top 4 Girls teams, as well as the top 15 individuals in each the classic and skate legs.

As mentioned, I am hoping to have final details out to you all tomorrow, but if there are any questions before than, please let me know.
