I skied the Dragonfly loop this morning. Tracks were firm, with no bare spots or detours and essentially no leaves or debris. A little bit glazed when I first started out but slightly softer later in the morning. Great skiing!

Trail was in good condition. It was about 11 degrees with partial sun. Trail does not appear to have been groomed since Friday/Saturday's snow. In less open areas, a reasonably well defined double track existed but it disappeared in the open and run-outs at the bottom of the hills were chopped up and required caution. I used Swix Polar White, which was okay on the flats but lacked bite on the uphills.

It started to snow before we got on the trail. Tracks were firm and pretty deep considering the amount of snow. Great job of grooming.

Started skiing about 1 pm and it seemed the groomer had just finished. Besides the person that walked the ski trails between the tracks, it only looked like one or two others had been out. I started with my old waxless skis but after the skiing the full outer loop I switched to my “skin” classic skis. Trails were nice. Tamarack usually grooms 2 parallel classic tracks throughout. Kudos to the groomer as on the hills one track was removed and just rolled. This allowed those of us that “snow plow” the downhills to have space! For those of us that are intermediate skiers, it was fantastic!

Conditions were fair to poor -- without the leaves, needles and seeds in the forested areas, it would have been fair to good. Pretty consistent track except for the ice on the flooded section on the SE corner of the system. 32 degrees. I used Swix Violet Klister. Looking for a little variety close to my Roseville home, I skied Tamarack for the first time. Surprisingly little ice or bare spots. I was able to avoid all except one. :) In the open, the track was generally dry and fast - once the trail scraped the worst of the leaf or seed litter out of my klister.

Beautiful morning ski today - while the tracks are slightly flat in spots, as long you're not trying to set an Olympics speed record, the trails are in fine shape. One low spot of the Dragonfly trail was flooded in the warm weather a week or so ago, but after a couple nights in the teens the tracks were frozen solid. So if you ski to this area you can either turn around and ski the trail back, or you can take your skis off and walk a hundred yards to the next high spot.

Great time at Tamarack today! Was great seeing people out enjoying the trails on such a wonderful winter day. The snow covered trees really added to the beauty! Can’t wait to get out there again and ski ALL the trails!

Trails are mostly in good condition, with a few scant bare spots and icy spots. One portion of the Dragonfly Loop has standing water/slush over ice from recent rain, and there's no current alternate route back to the trailhead; ski to Otter Lake Road and walk the path to the next trail entrance.

Recently groomed and tracked. Nice conditions. A few grass/dirt spots that are easily avoidable. Skied all the classical trails.

There were a few spots where grass and dirt showed, but they were easily avoided. There were quite a few leaves on the hill before the trails separate. I did both the outer and inner loops and fresh snow covered the grass and dirt by the time I did my second time around. The tracks set up nicely and it was a fine ski today on my old woods. I used Rex TapeGrip and the it handled the fresh snow beautifully.
