Skied on the dragonfly loop, some very icy spots but definitely doable after the recent snow. Would do again.

All trails have been packed. Due to the warm weather and wet weather, trails are starting over. As we get more snow, we will be laying track. Have a safe and Happy New Year's.

Firsthand: Classic Secondhand
[ B skis ]
I was told trails rolled, but not set last Friday, but appeared to have been rolled and set Monday morning as the first half of Dragonfly Loop was in very good shape! Then took Deer Pass which had some oak leaves in track. East end stretch of Dragonfly not in great shape track wise and had a patch of frozen water in the lowlands, but could ski around that. All in all a great ski compared to our sorry season from last year.

Freshly groomed today. Mostly good, however some sections are not groomed, with some ice and weeds sticking through.

8:30 AM Thursday, trails were not groomed or tracked. There were skied-in tracks in places. Didn't ski the deer pass back hill loop. Pushed some snow in some completely unused cut-off trails. Plenty of snow that will take some work to pack, groom and track. Still beautiful fun on the trails. Used slightly wider touring skis. Probably not the easiest on your real skinny skis?

Conditions are great. Trails are groomed on the dragonfly trail, less groomed on the far back deer trail but a couple of people have skied back there including myself so there is a bit of a trail.
