Intermediate to challenging trails with lots of ups and downs. Double tracked, predominantly one-way loop trails. Skate ski from park office to Mt. Tom for a spectacular winter panoramic view of the area.

I was pleased that a track has been set in the Mt Tom and campground areas. It is thin in some areas but very skiable. A nice surprise after skiing here over the weekend and holiday.

I was disappointed that although Sibley got 8" of snow, they weren't able to even get the trails packed and rolled evenly. There are no tracks set, but the machine tracks have rutted up the trails. I even tried the paved road that is usually groomed for skating, and that was also rutted. I talked to one skater who said the deck was very soft. I don't recommend trying Sibley until they get more snow.
