Excellent skating on the golf course trails. Very firm and fast despite the warm temps and early sun. The bluffside trails were very good for classic. Some tracks were shallow and wiped out in small sections but usable. The groomer was heading out to refresh the skate decks when I left. I'm sure the skiing will be excellent in the morning. Go get it! Minnesota Ski Pass required.

Skated the bluff trails Sunday and Monday. With several grooming passes the new snow has firmed up nicely and skiing is excellent. The groomers also extended the trail to go around the various lookouts of Memorial park so wonderful vistas of Red Wing and the Mississippi River. This has been stated before but the climb up is doable, the trails up top varied and fun and the trip down exhilarating but safe.

Went over not knowing if they were rolled or groomed and found all the trails were groomed, tracks set or in the process of grooming. Great day. Up on top had a some drifting but the deck was firmer than I thought it would be and classic tracks were awesome. Rode Green Special.

Beautiful, firm conditions on all lower (gold course) trails. Best pre-holiday skiing in years. I did not ski the bluff trails.

Skied the golf course trails at Mississippi National on Thursday evening. Trails had been rolled following the morning snow. Firm base, but still soft powder on top. A little slow going. Tracks were set around the figure 8, but washed out in the narrow sections on the hillside. Did not get a chance to see if the bluff trails up to Memorial Park were open.
