A couple inches of new snow on top of a hard crusty base. Most trails groomed, with classic track. A few trails not groomed, or groomed but no track. As usual, trails near the parking lots have been badly trampled but as you get farther out that is not a problem. Pine forest areas have some needles and sticks. No bare spots. Conditions overall fair to good.

Good conditions this afternoon. Maybe 2/3 of the trails were groomed, which made for much repetition if you are out for a length of time. Tracks were deep, firm and fast. Wind is causing some tree litter in spots but surprisingly little drifting. Many groomed turns were too sharp to execute within the tracks. Some of these turns had little space to execute outside the tracks. Be careful on the descents.

The trails were groomed but not in the last few days. There was a lot of damage from paw prints and foot traffic. No classic track set.
