Snow transitioned with the weekend warm temperatures.  Trails renovated and re-groomed this morning with fresh snow from edges being mixed in with transitioned snow.  Spring-like conditions.  Skiing is firm, icy, and fast.  Re-grooming helped clean-up the lip left where the ski trails cross the paved rec trails where they were plowed this weekend.

Six inches of new dry wind-blown snow over the weekend.  Trails packed and groomed Sunday afternoon.  Classical tracks mostly deep, firm and well formed except for several short exposed areas where the tracks have blown-in and are covered or thin.  Most of these thin sections the tracks has been scrubbed clean by skiers.  Some areas have leaves in the track.  The skating lane is firm with good edging that saw numerous skiers pack it down Monday afternoon.  44 inches of snow this season with approximately 20 inches snow on ground.  Most trail areas have a foot or more packed firm base.  .

Trails groomed New Year's Day after 13 plus inches of wet dense snow from the three day storm.  Classical tracks are deep and well formed.  Skating lane was packed over a six inch firm base.  Light freezing rain on New Year's Day left an icy coating on trails that made for fast trails this morning. The snow is drying out during cooler evenings and firming up.
