Excellent conditions, groomers were out. Solid base and well packed snow. Snow just beginning when I left.

All the trails were regroomed this afternoon. We did not reset track as it's still in pretty good condition. Overall, the trails are in excellent shape. With snow forecast for tomorrow afternoon our plan is to regroom on Monday morning.

Despite the cold, great conditions at Hixon. Trail groomers have done a terrific job setting nice course around the GC and thru the woods. Tracks are very good and only shallow in a few spots, but no rocks, dirt, etc. showing thru. Skate deck looks good, too.

Trails groomed yesterday and today. Very good to excellent conditions. Classic tracks set on the lower golf course portion then had issues with groomer. Plan to set track on upper golf course and woods later today or tomorrow.

All trails groomed yesterday and today. Skate deck is in very good condition. A couple of spots of grass showing on the golf course (easily avoided), woods have very good coverage. Not enough snow to set good tracks for classic. Flat portion of the road from the parking lot not groomed - use the golf course trail.

Trails are in fair condition, but very skiable. No classic tracks have been set - not enough snow. Skate deck is good in most places, some large bare spots under trees on the golf course. The upper woods sections are good - Log, Bicentennial and Hickory. Avoid the road from the parking lot (lots of ruts and not groomed in sections), use the golf course trail to get to the woods.

Updated grooming plans: Lower Hixon grooming won't happen until Sunday morning when temps hopefully get below freezing. We recommend not using any trails at this time to preserve the snow we do have.
