Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Hoffman Hills was groomed today and the skate deck looks fabulous and very firm. We set tracks throughout the lower bowl but due to equipment issues did not do the Tower trails. Still plenty of skiable terrain on a good solid base!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Hoffman was groomed and tracked this morning and looked really good when we finished. Skate deck firmed up nice! Tracks are shallow in places and that pesky forest litter shows up a few places. Other than that get out and ski it!

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Grooming is holding up well considering the weather. Trails are still covered but there's a fair amount of tree debris and it's icy and mushy in spot so be careful. Trails further up the hill are in better shape than the blue trails further down. Great place to ski!

We finished clearing debris and rolling and grooming everything at Hoffman today. Best snow in years. The property is majestic right now. Get out and ski it! Wisconsin's hidden little Gem!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Like other areas, Hoffman is a work in progress. We cleared and rolled about 70 percent of the trails yesterday and groomed/tracked them today. There are still areas with branches and trees bent over onto the trails we groomed so be alert while skiing. Do avoid the trails that are rolled but not groomed as well as those we left untouched.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
We groomed and tracked 70% of Hoffman today. Some trails are closed due to tree/debris damage. Lots of skiable terrain for every level. Best snow conditions in recent memory. Happy New Ski Year!

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
I skied the core loops (blue and green trails) this morning. There is good snow coverage, but some debris scattered due to the weekend winds. The classic tracks are pretty decent for early winter; the skate lane has been rolled/dragged but is variable. All in all - lotsa fun on real snow before Christmas!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Hoffman Hills was 100% rolled and groomed with track today! Six inches of new snow on top of a 5 inch base should set up really well. Bring your good skis! Only trail not groomed was the Roller Coaster trail but plenty of ski terrain to be explored!

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Rock skis ]
Rolled all but Roller Coaster this afternoon. Groomed sections of the lower trails including Lower and Upper Pines, Logging Road, Spring Run and Mount Fuji and part of Buck Ridge. Better than expected results with forest litter poking through and dirt pulled up in areas with very nice corduroy in others. We debated whether to rate the trails as rock or B skis. Grooming plans: We plan to do more grooming over the next few days.
