Hoffman was groomed and tracked early this morning due to snow ending late last night. Foot traffic from the weekend was eliminated. Trail conditions appear to be the best this year! Get out before the temps take a toll on snow depth.

Some trail repair was done yesterday on thin spots with snow gathered from trail side. More berry canes and overhanging branches were trimmed. This morning all trails were groomed and tracked. All trails are in great shape, however there are just a couple areas where the classic track has dirt/debris. Hoffman is in great shape for the virtual Birkie!

What a wonderful snowfall! Hoffman was rolled last night and groomed and tracked this morning. I anticipate that conditions will be soft for a couple days given cold temperatures. There are still a few, very few, thin spots and mostly on the Star Wars/Buck Ridge ascents. There was and still is considerable drifting on North Squirrel Tail so expect the grooming to be filled in with snow on that segment. I did take some time to clear many berry canes that were encroaching on the classic tracks. Great skiing to be had at Hoffman Hills!

Hoffman was groomed and tracked this morning. Much improved after an inch or so of snow fell Saturday night. Rated good skis but there are still thin spots and the occasional dirt pulled up by the groomer. Use good skis with caution.

Checked out Hoffman for the first time. Ran out of daylight so only did half the trails but good grooming and minimal foot traffic on what I did. The steeper hills have dirt/debris here and there - hence B skis - but didn’t hit anything that tripped me up.

All trails were rolled, groomed and tracked this morning. Use good skis but do be cautious where there are erosion control berms as some dirt was pulled up around them. Classic track turned out well in most areas. I skied most of the trails finding some soft spots. It’s so nice to use good skis!

The grooming was finished this morning except for Roller Coaster. No classic track was set, there is not enough snow depth. I skied about half the trails and found them to be firm and fast with good edges, not icy. There is some corn snow in areas as well as grass and dirt poking through but easy to avoid. Overall great skiing given snow conditions!
