Got the Boss out of the shop this morning so the parking lot was cleaned up and trails groomed and tracked. Machine did miss some but we got back in just fine. The trails now look reasonably good.

The Boss got out of the "hospital" (repair shop) so we were out there tonight to roll down the deep new snow. Plan was to drag and set track late tomorrow but the Boss still was not running properly. So back to the "hospital" it goes.

Firsthand: Classic Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Early this morning, trails were packed with the roller. Then late morning, The Groomzilla was put to work to level the trails and set tracks. Then, we headed out for a ski this afternoon. Cold but no wind! Sun was out too. Groomed trails were in great shape, as was the single track trail overlooking the Pilgrim River.

We got the Groomzilla out there this afternoon with the gracious help from a couple of wonderful folks who helped to make this happen today. This updated drag was brought out of the shop with a fully functional track setting pan! So today the trail was smoothed up and of course tracks made. Yes you read that correctly, tracks were made! Hope all the skiers out there can get out to enjoy them soon. Good excuse to bundle up and get out!

Trails were rolled today and parking lot plowed. Looks real, real nice out there. The tow machine is heading for the repair shop and we're not sure when we'll get to use it again. Big thanks to the volunteer who plowed this morning!

Happy Winter Carnival! Was out at dusk to roll down the 6" of new, fluffy snow. Trails looks nice, but getting bumpy from the roller. The drag will take care of that. The tow machine was not running properly tonight and needs to get into the shop. So sorry to say, weekend grooming plans are up in the air. We and all the trail users would appreciate if anyone could plow the parking lot this weekend.

Late today this fresh snow was rolled in. Wasn't all that much new snow out there, but the trails looked quite nice afterwards. Hope to see you out there! Directions to the trail head can be found on Google Maps, and on the facebook page under "about". Trails are free and open to everyone.
