The North Trail System weaves through the northern tip of Goose Island, making its way through river bottoms, and showcasing the Eastern side of the Island. The Wigwam trail encompasses multiple habitat types as users make a loop along the Southern end of Goose Island and is connected to the North Trail via the campground during the winter. The Shady Maple Trail travels through the Mississippi River bottoms on the Southeast side of Goose Island. One of the features along this trail, is an old artesian well, that flows year round.
