Notes
The North Trail System weaves through the northern tip of Goose Island, making its way through river bottoms, and showcasing the Eastern side of the Island. The Wigwam trail encompasses multiple habitat types as users make a loop along the Southern end of Goose Island and is connected to the North Trail via the campground during the winter. The Shady Maple Trail travels through the Mississippi River bottoms on the Southeast side of Goose Island. One of the features along this trail, is an old artesian well, that flows year round.Trail Reports

With the snow we received on Friday, we were able to groom all trails for classic skiing. Conditions are good as of this morning.

All Goose Island trails have been groomed for classic skiing, and are open for use. Tracks set well with the current snow conditions and temperatures. no bare spots observed.
