Beautiful last day of the season ski at ABR. Conditions still awesome. Fresh pisten bully grooming on most of the combi trails. Fast conditions to start then slowed quickly in the sun. So glad they stayed open for skiers to enjoy two weeks longer than usual. Thanks ABR!

Grooming Scheduling
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
We had a great morning grooming. We had three PistenBully out making the trails smooth and soft. Skiers were happy. Even the Highlands were groomed via the connector on Blueberry. Grooming plans: We will be back out in the morning to regroom. The ski shop is closing for the season at 12 pm and the ski trails are closing at 5 pm. Thank you for a great season of 124 days!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Crasher groomed up another 25k or roughly this morning. There is one small dirt spot showing on Memory Lane, easy to ski around. We received a good 2" of new snow today which should mix in with the old snow well. Grooming plans: PistenBully will be out in the morning, probably three of us. We will groom the dog trails and might do a bit on the Highlands from the bypass on. Get it in now while we are still open and grooming daily.

With an inch of fresh and fluffy snow in the tracks, classic skiing was perfection. I skied River and Memory Lane.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
Crasher Pisten bully groomed 25 km of combination (skate and classic) and Tamarack 2 track this morning. Skiing was rated highly from the few skiers that used them today. Base is firm underneath but the top is tilled and renovated corn snow for control. We will be daily grooming until Sunday and we close Sunday at dusk.

Feeling bad for the folks who've already storage waxed their skis. Hero conditions at ABR today. Fast and fun corduroy, and solid tracks. Debris and dirty snow in places, but only one easily avoidable bare spot (on Memory Lane).

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Partial, Good skis ]
We have been grooming with the Pisten Bully every morning for up to 4 hours. Conditions are still very good spring skiing conditions, some of the trails to the south have closed due to the river flooding. Grooming plans: We plan to be open through this weekend and will continue to groom daily until then.

Perfect skating conditions. Fast but not icy. Lots of snow. Still looked like January on the trails and in the woods. Too bad it isn't.

Fast and fun skate conditions. Fresh corduroy was edgeable. Firm, fast PB groomed tracks too. Really enjoyed getting back out on Ridge Runner... great conditions made for fast, controllable downhills and easier climbing. Fun, fun, fun. We were counting snowmen... how many snowmen on RR?!

Thanks to Snocross, Crasher, Wide Track and Partner they have been keeping up on the grooming. Tricky grooming but the report from smiling faces is positive. Snowpack is very good; we are just trying to keep the trails open that don't flood from the river and creeks. Grooming plans: We will be back out grooming in the early am with 3 of us. Probably all in Pisten Bullies with renovators getting the trails ready for Sunday. then we will see what the skier counts are to determine staying open. We do plan to groom until next Sunday March 29 and see how the numbers are. That is two weeks longer than Angela let me stay grooming in the past. Stop in the ski chalet and let Matthew know you are here and your feelings on being open for two more weeks than normal.
