Still going at Swedetown! Temps dropped enough overnight to take out the big groomer one more time. Now it's 50 degrees mid-day, but the base is intact. Per today's grooming report: "Well folks, it's looking like today is probably the last Husky grooming day of the season. We will still be grooming using snowmobile implements until our snow is gone, but the base is getting thin and we will likely lose even more snow this week. I was able to groom all but Papa Bear, Relentless, and Tamarack tonight in the Husky to mix in the slushy snow we got today, completed as of 2 am. Conditions are a tad wonky in spots due to grooming in slush and thin base, but overall this should set up incredibly well overnight and make for some very fast skiing in the early morning. Enjoy the last days of skiing while it lasts! It's been a great season.".

No shortage of snow around Calumet. The Swedetown Trails were great the past two days for skating in the morning. Skins or scales also provided a slow, but enjoyable classic ski mid-days. This morning crust skiing was an option, which led to several trips around the ungroomed Papa Bear trail. Quite a few people there each morning.

Conditions were great in the afternoon witih new snow falling. Classic tracks were very good and there is still a good base. Skied on Pineridge, part of Relentless, Valley and part of Powderhouse Loop and it was great throughout.

Excellent snow conditions and grooming! Nearly all of the classic tracks had been set, with some skied in on one side or the other. In a few places where there were classic tracks on both sides, one side hasn't been skied in but that could easily be done. The skate deck also appeared to be in excellent condition.
