Trails last groomed on Tuesday but were still very good today. Classic tracks were deep and solid. Skate lanes firm and flat. Plenty of snow in Marquette!

Great trail system with a variety of trails- some classic only and some combo. Grooming was great with deep classic tracks. We skied classic only trails crossroads, sparstan, husky, and threw in combo trail wolverine to make a great ski. The downhills on Spartan were exhilarating! Never been disappointed here.

What a wonderful day of skiing at Blueberry Ridge Trail! The sun was out bright and the tracks were solid and perfect. We skied here two years ago and it was quite icy. Not so today. It was about ten degrees with a little wind chill, but the sun made up for that.

Gorgeous ski at Blueberry Ridge. Did most of the trails. Classic-only trails had a lot of leaf/pine needle debris in the tracks and we were frequently in and out of the tracks to avoid the worst of it. The Spartan loop wasn't recently groomed but skied-in tracks made it so we had plenty of glide. Skate trails were being actively groomed while we were out, so it was hit and miss for classic tracks being set. Occasional stick here and there from high winds several days prior, but they were very avoidable and we tried to flick them off where we could.

Was snowing lightly all afternoon, maybe 2” of new accumulation on top of the groomed trails (were groomed the day prior). Still a very nice smooth base, just a bit slower with the new snow. The warming hut with wood burning stove is really nice. Superior and wildcat were my favorite trails.

Very good conditions, 8-9 out of 10, even with the low overall snow depth. Skied classical about 5 k. Classic track was set on some trails - no leaves or debris in tracks. Skate conditions appeared to be excellent, 2-3” of new snow was being further groomed as we skied. More people should be posting here on skinnyski! Blueberry Ridge has a beautiful new, heated lodge, with indoor plumbing. The building is fully open, while many others are not.
