After 6.5 inches of snow in 2 days, the groomers where out and pulled the ginzus around for skate skiing. I classic skied without tracks and skied ok without tracks being set. Grooming plans: Groomers will likely regroom Friday morning. Will things hold up for weekend skiing? Time will tell.

Perfect conditions! Tracks are still intact. only one spot where the ground is showing. Snow is soft but slick in the shade.

The Arboretum groomers groomed up the skate lanes late this morning. The classic tracks are in decent shape when they were set last weekend, however I skate skied on the textured corduroy.

No new snow, but the Arb groomers were out mid-morning today and groomed all skate lanes and set a new classic track with overall good results. I skied there this afternoon in bright sunshine.

Trails are groomed and tracks set on all trail segments. Two 3 inch snow events late last week have allowed for good conditions. Classic tracks had some blowouts, but overall are good.

Tracks are set for classic, there were a few spots where the ground was exposed. Personally, I wouldn't bring out my best pair of skis quite yet. The base is great for skating, a few icy patches in some areas.

Trails were groomed Sunday after 3 inches of new snow on Saturday. Today, the classic tracks were set with good results. Night skiing is available with 5km of lit trails (lights turn off at 10pm).

Trails were groomed pulling the ginzu this morning. An overall improvement with smoother skate deck overall. Sand and thin areas on Little Ben Trail. Overall-decent. 1.5 to 2 inch base. 85% of trails have good snow coverage (1st photo). 15% or less has sand mixed with snow but easy to ski thru without ski grabbing (2nd photo).

5 inches of snow over the weekend. Trails rolled Sunday and Monday. The ginzu groomer was used this morning to even the deck out a bit. Only a 2 inch packed base of snow. Not enough snow to set classic tracks. Skating was slow in the cold but decent.

With the extra inch of snow Thursday night (3 inches total) that provided just enough to give improved coverage after the initial rolling. Skiers have made the 1 inch base fairly firm. There are exposed sticks and thin spots, so ski with caution.
