Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Today was my very first time out cross country skiing so I don't have anything to compare it to but I thought they seemed pretty good. There are a few spots that the classic trails are not set that great due to being skied quite a bit and unfortunately there are many people that have walked on the path. But overall I thought the trails seemed good and it was a great first time out!

Had a lovely classic ski today at Quarry. Both loops were groomed for classic with the outer loop also being groomed for skate skiing. Tracks were holding up well . Special thanks to Park groomers for taking advantage of the new snow. Also, new signs are helping to keep walkers off the trail. It was great to see so many folks out enjoy the day and the offerings of this great park!

A bit of snow arrived! A couple inches of snow was enough to get the groomers out Sunday morning. Outside Loop groomed with one set of classic tracks and skate ski. Inside Loop groomed with two sets of classic tracks. Lights are on from 4 - 10 PM. Conditions are good.

After receiving about 3 inches of new snow, the groomers went out and packed all the trails. Good for skate skis. Classic tracks will not be set until there’s more snow.
