Notes

Mostly intermediate level trails are groomed for classical or both classic and skating. There is also a beginner loop. Skating sections tend to be quite narrow and the trail is remote and heavily wooded. Ideal classical terrain.

Ok for striding. Not recently groomed, if at all, but decent track to follow. The amount of foot/snowshoe traffic made parts a bit sketchy. Long middle trail was the worst. Enjoyable nonetheless.

Trails were open, since they are county forest they are never really closed. But they have not been groomed yet this season. Disappointing since there was 5" of fresh powder over another 5 or so from previous snows. We followed someone else's tracks, but were plowing snow all of the way. Did a small loop from the south end and the "C" cutoff. Trail winds through county forest that has been logged, you can see cutoffs and ponds. Will be gorgeous in a few years when the growth fills back in. Just wish it had been groomed and we could have done the whole trail. Seemed like the snowmobile trail hadn't been groomed either, so maybe we are just too early in the season. Definitely worth skiing, if groomed, if not... wait.
