I skate skied all the trails, except the two segments between the connection points of Black Forest Cake/Zeke’s Return. Trail had been recently groomed and was in very good condition, with little debris. Classic tracks looked to be in very good condition, as well.

City of Cohasset groomer reports that 3 inches of new snow is soft and sticky but he did pack and set track. Go ski before pine needles and oak leaves clutter the track!

[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Many open spots had undergrowth coming through on the trails, dirt, weeds etc. where the snow is melting. People had walked on the trail by the river. Areas within the more wooded spots were in good condition but not great. Need more snow!

A good place to get back in the groove and a very scenic view along the Mississippi river. Ample parking and a small warming house . My wife and I ski classic and the tracking was good in spots but the trail could use more snow. A pleasant find for the area!
