Splendid classic skiing. Used fresh fast wax blue/teal and it was an easy ski. Started out late morning- all quiet. Nice grooming- not bothered by leaves or any exposed areas.

The whole trail system, large and small loops, were groomed and soft because of the fresh snow. As usual, the grooming was excellent even with the relatively large amount of the snow. To avoid the gusty wind, I skate skied the wooded but fun loop next to the first parking lot near the bottom of the hill.

Trails were pretty hard with very little ice, and good coverage almost everywhere. Unfortunately the strong winds today brought down a lot of junk that you need to avoid. I cleared most of the branches I came across, but there were lots of twigs, leaves and bark chunks in the woods (most of the trail). Skiing was not too bad, but the trail is unforgiving so be careful out there - ski conservatively to be safe.
