Notes

About 17km total of trail loops near the St. Cloud penitentiary. Some scenic woods and great hills. Just a mile from the Mississippi, trails run on land that was formerly a farm and takes skiers through pastures, forests, and apple orchards. Trails are mostly easy to intermediate with a few challenging hills.

Warm Up, Baltos, Orchard, and North Loop all got a couple passes on the skate deck. Didn't touch the track unless it was to accidentally fill it with snow!

Skied the North loop. Absolutely beautiful, tracks were amazing. A little dusting of snow from the night before. The groomers did a great job, thank you!!

Graystone trails, north loop, orchard, warmup rolled yesterday. North loop, orchard, warmup groomed and tracked today. Soft snow, quite challenging, will attempt hilltop and Baldos early next week.

Scratched through the frozen rain on all the prison trails. We left the classic track that was ther. We did not groom the power line on baldos loop. Everything else is as good as expected.

North Loop conditions were excellent -- most of the trail is shaded so even in warm temps it was a fast ski with great snow conditions for both skate and classic. Thanks groomers!

New classic tracks set on all 17k of trails today. Skate deck on Hilltop, Warm Up, Orchard, and North Loops groomed as well (about 13k).

North loop is groomed and track set and in very nice shape. They will probably not blow over. Hilltop is groomed and should stay good. Warm up is groomed and will be wind blown soon. Orchard is groomed and trackset.

I skied Orchard loop and the snow was great although a little slick because of the mix of snow and ice. There are a few spots where the classic trails are not tracked - but just keep going as they eventually appear!

All the prison trails have been groomed and tracked except for part of baldos dog loop. It's nice to have pretty decent trails after that darn rain.
