All trails were open but you'd be reckless to ski any of the hills. Forget Pleasure Valley and Ridgeview. The trails were groomed only once on Tuesday and were hard packed throughout. The skate track was rock hard and I didn't see anyone was using it. I've seen more cars on a weekday. No loose or soft snow anywhere with slick tracks. I used two different waxless skis to mitigate the leaves which were profuse but even fish scales wouldn't get much grip. A struggle to get up even the slightest grade and no control on the way down. Very disappointing as there was plenty of snow to work with and it could have been a great way to end the season. Elver was so much better. Not recommended.

Super nice, deep, firm tracks. Great job done by the groomers on Thursday. The gusty winds today meant more than a few oak leaves on the trails, though. Nice fast snow, no ice, glazing, or crusty spots.

Near-perfect conditions! The non-tracked areas were soft and uneven so skating might not be great, but for classic, the 90% that is tracked is excellent.

Just talked with park office, they report trails groomed Thursday and in good to very good condition. Thanks groomer volunteers!

All trails regroomed today and tracks set. Skated the campground loop. Fast deck but not icy or slushy due to lower temps today and fresh grooming. I'm guessing the classic tracks are a little icy but all good considering the major meltdown over the weekend.

Surprisingly nice conditions. The entire system was groomed on Friday and the groomer was freshening up some of the trails for tonight's candlelight ski as I left around 3:30. Minor glazing in the woods, a tiny bit soft in the prairies. Nice solid tracks throughout despite heavy usage and warm temps. Very good. A large bright yellow orb appeared in the sky, could not identify.

Groomed Wednesday. Tracks were clean, deep, and firm. I post-holed a few times on the outside, but it was really minor. Tracks were washed out in the usual places, on the Minx trail behind the shelter and on the big hill coming into the campground. Otherwise, very good grooming, fast snow, but still controllable on the big hills. Saw what I think was a Great Grey Owl. Great fun!

Grooming was just finishing up around 11am with track set and nice corduroy. Temps were still in the low 20's at that point so it was an excellent ski with good kick and glide using blue kick wax. Skate track in campground is excellent. Going back soon for a few more laps.

No grooming since last Monday. Two 2" snowfalls since then and temps around 32. Skier made tracks were not bad. Blue kick wax got me through without too much slipping. Partner did ok on waxless skis as well. They say they'll groom on Monday.

Groomer out around 1pm and groomed areas -- excellent. A little grass poking through on Pleasure Valley outside track, but rest very good with only minor leaf litter. Getting a little soft in spots by early afternoon.
