Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails are groomed. I wasn't able to cut a very good track but it's better than nothing. Skating conditions are excellent. Should be a great weekend coming up here to get up there. There is about 8 Km of groomed trail.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Had not been groomed probably since the warm up of Feb 2nd. Skate deck and tracks were rock hard with a light dusting over it. Noted that the map is not exactly accurate. The Beaver Dam Trail extends probably about twice as far east-west than is shown on the map.

Night
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails are freshly groomed. I was not able to cut a very good track on the Beaver Dam. The Point also does not have a track at the moment. The trail highlighted in pink has a good track leftover from last week. Otherwise everything else is combed out for good skating. Trail maps are finally hung. The race is coming so if you need a spot to train or practice, this is a good place to do it.

The Beaver Dam and Glen Johnstone trails were groomed this morning. The parking lot is plowed. There is a ton of snow right now and conditions are awesome.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Our first time skiing here. The snow was in good shape, however, the trail had acorn tops littered on it and some twigs. The classic track was good.

[ Good skis ]
My second or third time on the Beaver Dam Loop this season. Other than an iced-over section just down from the parking lot, nice skating deck (see photo). Classic tracks looked solid as well. Thank you, Michael, for keeping this available to recreational skiers in the area!

Skied two loops on the Beaver Dam Trail. The tracks were solid in most places, and poling was nice and firm. A few leaves, but not bad at all. One rock in the track that was easily avoided. Mild, beautiful day. So fun to ski up there again! We also tried the part of the Johnston's trail that the groomer had said would be groomed, and it was rolled/packed, but not combed out and no tracks yet on that section as of noon on Sunday.
