Not groomed. Slushy texture. That said, surprisingly good coverage, decent glide and easy to make your own trail!

The groomer was out and tracks are set. It's very soft and grass is poking through a few areas of the skate land and many more places in the tracks. If you are going tonight make sure you have a good light so you won't be surprised.

Conditions are fair to good for both skate and classic on the outside loop. It looks like the groomer made another pass since I first skied here Monday. Thursday night the skate deck was more compressed and gave a decent push off and there was less damage from people walking on the trail. There are some bare spots but all but one are easily avoided. One spot had enough debris and ground peaking through that you'll either want to pick your way through carefully or use rock skis. Classic track was mostly decent but washed out or covered with drifting snow in places.

Not bad considering the first grooming of the season. Skied outer and inner loop. No debris or bare spots. Some minor snow drifting. Biggest problem is snowshoeing damage on the groomed trails ( So much open area other than groomed trail to shoe?). Skate deck looks good too!

It's very soft as you might expect. There are tracks set also. The groomer was out but there's not enough weight on it to do much good. There was a lot of people out there having a good time. You should too.
