Trails had been groomed Friday and were in good condition, though there were areas were tracks were quite shallow. But in temps in the 40s, this didn’t matter: trails was firm and flat with the melting on top allowing for good grip and slide. Fresh snow last week meant little to no debris on trails. We sometimes are daunted by the hills and turns on this trail, but these were perfect conditions for a slower - and more controlled - ski. We were able to focus on just enjoying the beautiful beautiful pine forest and lakes scenery.

Fresh snow on the tracks. Fast conditions and beautiful scenery. The Norberg loop is an intermediate skier trail. Hills and a single track. Lots of tracks. Fox, Deer and Wolf on most of the trail.
