Pattison's location in the snow belt outside of Superior is a real advantage this winter. With an inch dusting over the grooming and fairly deep snow, conditions were gentle and glide-y. Only icy spot was a big hill towards the end.

The park ranger said the trails hadn't been groomed in about a week but they hope to groom after today's snowfall. About of inch of new snow over a crusty base. Despite the lack of recent grooming and the new snow, the old tracks were still well defined and skied great after the first lap packed them in. Full coverage, I used good skis.

Beautiful classic track set throughout the trail system. Fluffy snow over the top. Perfect cobalt blue skies.

We skied 2/3 of the trails from 3-4 pm. The trails were tracked for classic skiing, single track. Tracks were in good condition, a little beat up on the downhills but not icy, there is a good base.

Excellent trail conditions after the new snowfall and well groomed. Classic tracks are now full depth and seem to be firming up nicely.

Pattison was a freshly groomed winter wonderland today! Classic tracks were deep, debris free, animal footprint free, and a treat to ski on! This trail is worth a drive from anywhere if you are a seasoned classic skier who enjoys a fun flow of small hills, curves, solitude and the beauty of the trees.

Skied the overlook and oak ridge trails. Lots of small debris on the trail from recent wind storms. Decent base considering the recent melt, no rocks noted. Classic tracks are set shallow and overall condition of the trail is very icy. Not rock ski territory but definitely early season trail conditions currently.
