Trails were tracked over the weekend to extend the spring skiing as much as possible. The warm weather and melting will result in deteriorating conditions and debris on the trail. We will not be grooming anymore this season due to the warm temperatures. Thanks to all our volunteers for all their hard work on the trails, it was a great season and we look forward to seeing you on the trails hiking and biking this summer!

Skied the A Loop and planned on starting the B Loop when one of our friends went down on the A Loop steep down, dislocated her knee and tore multiple ligaments. We had to help her limp out in a serious amount of pain. So several of us walked out and broke trail for the two supporting her. Apologies for the very messed up trail on A Loop out to the parking lot. We had no choice. And many thanks to the two skiers passing by that helped us get everyone's gear out. We raced to Ashland ER immediately after getting to the parking lot. And very sorry again for the messed up trail!

Teuton Trails skate/classic groomed Tuesday, excellent condition. We are not maintaining the upper portion of the A loop after the 'Give a Hoot'cut off due to the high drifting snow so, it is well marked. The Valkyrie trails are planned to be groomed on Thursday. Enjoy the great March skiing!

The Valkyrie trails A and B are being groomed and tracked this afternoon. We are not grooming the C loop (Sunbowl) due to the amount of snow. The Teuton Side is planned for Friday morning. We will not be grooming the upper portion of the A loop after the 'Give a Hoot' cut off due to the amount of snow. The parking lot is plowed and the trails should be in great shape for the weekend. Sorry folks, our groomer is still broke so no trails are groomed for the weekend. Hoping for the parts to be in on Monday and start grooming again early in the week. And the parking lot is not in the best shape with the snow and warm weather so use caution when driving in there this weekend.

The Teuton trails were groomed and tracked on Tuesday. Grooming plans: On Wednesday we received a fair amount of snow and our groomer had to go in for repair. Parts are on order so for the next few days we are unable to groom. Hope to be up and running by the weekend but depends on parts and repairs. Chalets are open, stocked with firewood, and trails are decent and skiable, just not freshly groomed.

All trails on the Valkyrie side were groomed and tracked for skiing and fat bikes on Thursday. All trails on the Teuton side is being groomed and tracked this morning. Great conditions for a pre-ski before Book Across the Bay! Thanks to all the groomers for all their hard work and dedication.

All trails were rolled on the Valkyrie side and B loop was tracked for skiing. Soft conditions and lots of snow so we will be working more on the trails this afternoon and tomorrow. Plan is start working on the Teuton trails this afternoon and Thursday to prep for setting tracks on Friday morning.

All trails on the Teuton side were groomed and tracked today. 12 inches of new snow. The parking lot is plowed and we worked on reducing the ice hump at the entry but it's still there so be careful pulling in. Trails are in great shape, enjoy!
