Skied this park hoping that the leaf litter would not be as bad as Lebanon. The Eastern wooded is section was leaf littered but still pretty skiable for classic. The tracks were still pretty sharp, as though they cut most recently than advertised. The Western trail was pretty much leaf free, but beware occasional bare spots and icy sections. The skate track was firm, but some sections were drifted over. Overall, the best skiing I got this weekend.

Skied Spring Lake park today at Scharr's Bluff. Found the trails to be in good condition with the tracks firm. There had been walkers on trails but fortunately they stayed out of the tracks. There was a bit of leaf debris in the woods and some of the tracks were sticky and some others were icy but mostly tracks were good. Looking forward to the upcoming Trails by Candlight.

We did the short west loop and the groomed double tracks were in great shape. Only one short section where someone and their dog had been on the tracks. Plenty of snow. It was just cold enough that the snow conditions were perfect. Neither icy nor sticky. Just right!

Skied the double tracked 5.4 KM classic trail. About 1/4 inch new snow over groomed/tracked trail. Nice place to tour through wooded sections with scenic overlooks of Mississippi River. Kick waxing a challenge today, very sticky snow. From my view, it looks like Spring Lake Park has less snow than Lebanon Hills Park. Did not ski the 2.6 KM skate only trail in the prairie.
