Classic ski at Schaar's Bluff. Classic trails were fair to poor. The sections east of the parking area, and south of the Mississippi River Trail were poor with lots of debris. Probably best suited for rock skis. Skiing out of the tracks was typically a better option in these areas. The sections in the prairies were fair as was the section from the parking area to the MRT and back with just scattered debris. I'd rate B skis. I chose to extend my ski by going on the skate loop which had overall better coverage but varying degrees of drifting on about 1/3 of its length. There were just a few small patches of debris on the skate loop in the wooded areas. Could use good skis on this loop. I had skied here on Monday night and the trails were much better than today.

Great ski today at Schaars Bluff of Spring Lake Park. We started skiing at 11:20 and finished at 1pm. Enjoyed the ski so much we skied the farthest West section thru the Pines twice. Found ski trails to be in excellent to good condition with mostly firm tracks and some footprints in heavy traffic areas and leaf/bark debris in woods.

Newly groomed Monday morning. Perfection today. New soft snow made uphill climbs easy. Sun streaming through the woods. A day to renew the spirit. Thanks to the groomers!

Beautiful day at Schaar's Bluff Trailhead and the Spring Lake Park classic trails. Freshly groomed after recent snowfalls. Skied all of the 5.4KM of classic trails. Wonderful!

Very good conditions. After a weekend of skiers, tracking is beat up a bit. A little grass showing. Thanks to the groomers for creating a great venue for skiing. Quiet, snowy woods. Always awesome.

Ski trails were packed and tracked this morning and I found them to be in excellent condition. I skied both the East as well as West sections of Schaars Bluff of Spring Lake Park. Met a few other skiers while I was out. I did find small bit of grass showing thru the ski tracks in the open area in front of the Gathering Center over looking Spring Lake but I would rate this as a great ski. I'll be back.

Fantastic conditions this morning. All trails are groomed and tracks are set nicely. There are a couple spots with grass peeking through but otherwise near perfect. Thank you!

Pleasantly ungroomed trails that are decently packed. Some ice in spots, but otherwise it was a nice experience if you don't mind slowing down and increasing focus without tracks set for you.

Trails were packed this morning. Very minimal base with some bare or icy spots. Hoping more snow will help and not blow away. Tracks were not set.

Soft snow on skate ski trails made for difficult skiing. Classic trails had a lot of tracks from walkers and snow shoes! Didn’t appear that classic trails had been tracked and skate skiers had been on the classic trails. Looks like we could use more snow!
