Skate deck looked really firm. No bare spots on the staghorn loop. Classic track was in pretty good shape. Some debris which is to be expected. Trail is in good shape.

There hasn't been grooming since the snow we received over the weekend. Few bare spots now. I'm glad they have been setting a track. Trail is in pretty good condition considering.

With the little snow we have the trail is in good shape. The track has lots of grass, needles, and debris in it, but there is a track. I skated all the trails. Lake trail was only rolled and I would avoid it. I came to a dead stop on a pine cone but otherwise loved the firmness of the skate deck below me and the sunshine above.

Let us hope for more snow so classic track can be set. Unfortunately all of the trails that are designated for multi-use, as well as the core ski trails, were packed from side to side with all the recently skied-in tracks obliterated. Not to be denied, some of the horse trails off the beaten (and flattened) path(s), as well as the outer snowmobile trail, had enough untouched snow to ski a nice long classic route on my wider, shorter, indestructible tracking skis. When in doubt, bushwhack.
