This was my first of four stops in the St. Croix valley this morning on a classic ski sojourn. The trails are groomed with one classic track and a narrow skate lane. The trails are also shared with walkers. Despite this the skiing was not bad, classic looked better than skating, more footsteps and some ice in the skate lane. I would not drive across town to ski here but I would like it if it was in backyard!
