Skied the orange loop right after they were groomed and tracked early afternoon - great skiing! A little icy under the new stuff, but overall really nice snow.

Skate deck is in good condition, classic track is in fair to good condition. There are stretches of thin/icy base where poor conditions will be expected.

Went out before it hit freezing today. Trails still mostly good, with a few spots where dirt is mixed with snow. Generally easy to avoid the dirt, but you might want to use your B skis. Trails have been re-groomed at least once since the last snowfall, which really helped smooth out some of the pedestrian traffic footprints. Some footprints, but not deep divots, and barely noticeable when skating over them. I skated. Classic is also mostly good; sometimes the double tracks are reduced to one set of tracks. A few sticks and leaves.

We classic skied the orange loop. The snow was packed but not icy. Seemed to be recently groomed. There were a few spots with some sticks and leaves- but it was easily avoidable. Not much traffic in the park only saw a few other people- there were some walkers- but they stayed clear of the tracks. My daughter skate skied (she just started) and the snow was good for her too.

[ Rock skis ]
We skied most of green and north loop of orange trails early afternoon. Double tracked for most it - decent condition. However, tree debris makes things tricky. Lots of walking tracks on the skate bed.

Today was much different than my experience a couple days ago. There are many walking imprints and postholes on the skate deck and quite a bit of sticks/dirt/leaves in the tracks and on the deck. Still a fun ski, but I certainly wouldn't use good skis!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Trails were groomed and tracked today. Skate deck should be in good condition except for in windblown areas with occasional thin spots. Classic track are fair to good condition with occasional thin spots in high spots.

Rum River Central had pretty great conditions today! A double track has been set on much of the trail, and the skate deck is newly groomed. There are a couple portions where dirt was coming through near the road crossing, otherwise coverage is pretty good. Despite obvious signage, a couple of people had walked on the ski trails. Overall, it was a beautiful and sunny day to be out!

Rolled recently, trails a bit soft with the dusting from last night. No classic tracks set which made it a bit more difficult for the kids - but it's good for them! :).
