I classic skied east of the railroad and most of the west side. The trail is almost all passable but there was one hill near the north parking lot where I had to unclip. Including this in photos plus a couple other sketchy spots. You'll have to get creative to make your way around slush pits, puddles, and bare spots.

There are some self set classic tracks that are mostly skiable. There are lots of areas where meltwater has pooled and frozen. Many soft, wet, frozen, rutted areas. The groomer has not been out, the soft areas might be to much for the machine. And yes there is a small river to ford. No skate deck.

Lots of tracks laid by skiers, but trails were not groomed as of 1PM so probably not great for skating. Many slush pits to avoid and at least 1 small stream cutting the trail. I'm still very glad I got out and skied after the couple inches from last night. Sticky heavy snow but quick wax helped avoid caking.

We've got new snow! Unfortunately, we also have an equipment problem that is going to keep us from grooming for a while. We'll post here when we're back up and running. Sorry!

Today's warm weather may just be the end at Columbia. There are stretches that are still really good but (and there is always a bit) areas below a slope are quite wet and, on the section towards the northeast corner, there is a small stream of water that has cut a trench across the skate deck. I will likely still try and ski the driving range but the full course might be more than I would want to attempt.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that, even with the warm weather, we can still go ski Columbia. Parts of the trail are in really rough shape but our groomers were out last night and it really helped. There are icy sections as well as very soft spots but, if you are careful and work around them, there is still some skiing to be had.

Today's warm weather was not kind to Columbia. While there are stretches of the course that are still in good shape, the melt has created some real challenges. If you venture out, be prepared for significant areas of melt and refreeze. I want to take a moment to thank our groomers. Skiing at Columbia has been exceptional this season. Thank you for making the skiing so awesome!

Could have skied in shorts it was so beautiful at noon today. Classic tracks were in great condition, albeit some slushy/slow spots. The warm temps might really do some damage. Get a ski in while you can!
